Thomas Friedman had an interesting article in the New York Times today about the motivations of terrorists in the recent failed attacks in the US and in Saudi Arabia.
I have made many good friends here in Saudi Arabia, and I know that the extremists are a very very small minority. I have also never felt unsafe in this country - if I had I would no longer be here. Still, from an American perspective the terrorist mentality is alarming. Can anything else be done to stop these people or change their minds? What do you think?
